Ryker loves his SNOWMAN!

Every year at the Spencer's Christmas party they play the number game, when it's your number you get to pick out a present. Ryker was so happy when it was finally his turn. He got a ceramic snowman that he just loves! He carries it around everywhere. When Ryker see something that reminds him of his snowman he gets so excited and runs around looking for his snowman. It's so cute!!

Cranfill's Christmas party!

I always look forward to this Christmas party. I love seeing everyone! We always have great food and Santa comes, oh boy do the kids get excited for Santa! Ryker was so happy to see Santa he couldn't wait to sit on his lap. Every time one of the kids would get off Santa's lap Ryker would try and get on. He just loves Santa!! Ryker got the new Cars movie and one of the new Cars. Oh man was he excited!

My love and hate relationship with prednisone!

Two weeks on prednisone
Four weeks on prednisone
Six weeks on prednisone


I'm thankful for prednisone because it's fast acting and stops my disease dead in it's tracks. I hate it because of all it's crazy and scary side affects. I have been on a high dose for six weeks now and I have gained a lot of weight. I am talking TWENTY pounds... You gain weight so fast that your whole body feels like one big bruise. OUCH! I absolutely hate the MOON face and the prednisone hump right below your neck. Most of all I hate not sleeping. If it wasn't for prednisone and how fast it works I would be in BIG trouble.. I probably still have a few more months on the higher dose but I will be starting the drug infusion soon so hopefully the taper goes quicker.

First snow fall!

Jamie has been so excited for it to snow! He just couldn't wait to take Ryker sledding and to make a snowman. So Jamie and I were seriously on a hunt to find snow boots (really it was a joke). We went all over town looking and finally the last place we went we scored. He got the cutest Disney Car snow boots that light up. Ryker just loves the snow. I was surprised on how long he stayed out there. The cold really hurts me right now so I mostly watched from the window but I could only imagine what he was saying.
